Child Care Institute Recruitment 2023: Government of West Bengal, Office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Paschim Medinipur District, Midnapore-721101, District Child Protection Unit (SW Section) has released a notification for the recruitment of various posts. Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format attached herewith from the eligible candidates for engagement in different contractual posts of the Govt. run Child Care Institute (CCI) and Govt. run Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) under Mission Vatsalya Guideline situated at Vidyasagar Balika Bhawan, Vill.-Gope, PO.-Vidyasagar University, PS.-Kotwali, Dist.- Paschim Medinipur, PIN.-721102 which is 2.5 KM away from Medinipur Railway Station, Bus Terminus and Medinipur Collectorate. The applicant should be resident of Paschim Medinipur district.

Educational Qualification for Child Care Institute Recruitment:
What is the educational qualification for the applications of CCI –in detail below;
Child Welfare Officer (CWO)/ Case Worker/ Probation Officer –
Graduate preferably in B.A in Social Work/Sociology/Social Science or LLB from a recognized university.
Experience of at least 2 years of working with Govt./NGO/Legal Matters preferably in the field of Women & Child Rights. Good understanding of Women & Child rights & protection issues.
Weightage for work experience candidate. Proficiency in Computers.
House Mother (Residential) –
H.S. or equivalent
Other Preferred Qualification: At least 3 years’ experience in child care programme/Institutions.
Cook & Helper-cum-Night Watchman (Erstwhile Helper) (Residential) –
M.P. or equivalent (relaxed to class VII passed for Home inmates only) Other Preferred Qualification: Experience in relevant field
Nurse of SAA (Residential) –
M.P. or equivalent and successfully completed the course titled General Duty Assistant (Course Code HSSQ5101) or course listed in Home Health Aids (Course code Q5102) approved by Health Sector Skill Council with minimum 360 hours of duration Candidate applying with the Diploma in Nursing/GNM will be given preference.
At least 2 years experience in the relevant field.

- Cook – Rs. 12,000/- Per Month

Details of compositions of examination (Syllabus):
Written test (English, GK & Current Affairs, Arithmetic and Child Development & Welfare) of 80 marks (multiple choice), Computer test 10 marks and Viva-voce 10 marks will be taken for Child Welfare Officer/Case Worker/ Probation Officer.
Written Test (English, GK & Current Affairs, Arithmetic and Child Development & Welfare) of 80 marks (multiple choice), and Viva-voce 20 marks will be taken for House Mother.
A viva-voce test of 20 marks will be taken for Cook, Helper & Nurse.
