DRDO JRF New Recruitment 2023: MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, DEFENCE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (DRDO), DEFENCE MATERIALS & STORES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT (DMSRDE) G.T. ROAD, KANPUR – 208 013, has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Walk-in-interview of the candidates fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below for a period of two years is to be held in DMSRDE, Kanpur to award Junior Research Fellowships.

Educational Qualification:
What is the educational qualification for the applications of DRDO JRF –in detail below;
For Chemistry –
Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline (basic sciences) in first division with NET qualification.
For Chemical Engineering/ Material Science & Engineering –
Graduate degree in professional course (BE/B.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE.
OR
Postgraduate degree in professional course (ME/M.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
Age Limit:
What is the age limit for the applications of DRDO JRF –in detail below;
Maximum Age: 28 years as on date of interview (5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates). However, the OBC candidates in the creamy layer will not be eligible for age relaxation.

Salary Amount:
What is the salary amount for the applications of DRDO JRF –in detail below;
Fellowship Stipend: X 31,000/- p.m. (15 & 2″ year).
Contingency grant up to a maximum of ¥ 15,000/- per annum shall be paid to Research Fellows on reimbursement basis for the first two years. The contingency grant may be increased to % 20,000/- for the subsequent years. They shall also be eligible for HRA as per Government rules.
Junior Research Fellows arc not eligible for other type of benefits like DA, CCA, Bonus, Retirement benefit etc. However, they are eligible for medical facilities for self only through MI Room facility available in campus.

Interested candidates fulfilling the above qualifications may appear for a walk-in interview at the DMSRDE Transit Facility (Near DRLM Puliya), DMSRDE, G. T. Road, Kanpur 208 004 on the date & time as mentioned above along with a bio-data (formal enclosed) clearly indicating the name of the fellowship applied for, with a recent passport size photograph and Xerox copies of testimonials.
They must also bring all original Mark sheets/Certificates/Testimonials/Community Certificate (if applicable)/GATE/NET Score Card and ID proof (Voter’s ID/AADHAR Card/Pan Card/Driving License). Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channels.
