Key Responsibilities for L&T Recruitment
- Monitor the critical parameters of unit and take actions to improve the unit efficiency.
- Monitor the energy consumption and optimize wherever possible
- To monitor the unit performance during the shift and to ensure power generation as per the schedule.
- Ensure all statutory safety standards are followed and ensure the implementation of SOPs for operations.
- Responsible for smooth Start-up and Shutdown of Unit (Boiler/Turbine & Other auxiliaries) with the help of SCE.
- Report to UCE on deviations observed while monitoring the healthiness of system.
- To take schedule trial of equipment
- To ensure all the systems and equipment are on auto loop, if any in manual is continuously monitored.
- To closely coordinate with field engineer for start-up, shutdown, emergency handling and defect notification.
- Discuss with UCE on matters related to performance improvement and abnormalities.
- Continuous Monitoring of Unit process parameters.
- To verify the shift logs filed by field operation engineers.
- Ensure logging of all critical parameters is being done at all areas by respective operators and engineers.
- To raise work orders/notifications for the defects.
- Work closely with team to deliver on the specific projects assigned time to time.
- Effectively contribute to system improvement, efficiency improvement and safety improvement.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of units (BTG & Offsite).
- Ensure healthiness of all Boiler Turbine Generator (BTG) Unit & Offsite equipment and raise defect notifications for any defects to the concerned maintenance departments and coordinate for rectification.
- Ensure time to time learning about various emergencies during knowledge sharing sessions.
- Attend assigned training sessions for the development of self and team

Gujarat
- Responsible for supervision of production of solar modules as per requirements/specifications/standards and prudent industry practices in assembly lines of the shop floor
- Review module BOM proposed by the manufacturing partner along with Engineering/Quality for various models
- Evaluate and approve assembly lines of partner’s manufacturing facilities
- Evaluate and finalize approved sources for components/raw materials in consultation with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Finance teams
- Responsible for identifying key and critical components and process steps/equipment impacting quality/performance and developing appropriate quality assurance programs along with internal stakeholders
- Evaluate consumption levels of various raw materials in production as per prudent industry practices and fix acceptable wastage norms for cost competitiveness, monitor and enforce compliance during production
- Responsible for timely review and reconciliation of material receipts, consumption, and stock levels
- Jointly review and finalize mechanism for fixing CTM and Mechanical loss values for each solar cell type
- Provide inputs in fixing the reliability tests that are to be conducted to ensure long-term module reliability
- Jointly review and finalize storing procedures for key components such as solar cells
- Involve in discussions with raw material/component suppliers by the manufacturing partner, secure best possible terms, and coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing
- Jointly review and approve inspection/testing setups in the manufacturing facilities
- Hands-on experience in solar module manufacturing
- Understanding of processes impacting workmanship involved in solar module assembly
- Comprehensive Knowledge of relevant standards/certifications/regulations governing the components and solar module assembly
- Experience and exposure of all solar module assembly/manufacturing technologies
- Understanding of various equipment used in manufacturing and its productivity
- Good knowledge of all essential tests required to be conducted during production, incoming raw materials and finished product
- Acute knowledge in inventory management of various components/raw materials consumed in Solar module assembly
