Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: Northern Railway (Delhi Division) has released a notification for the re-engagement of Retired Staff on a monthly remuneration basis in Engineering, S & T, and Electrical Exigencies of services for Gatishatki Unit (GSU) of Delhi Division, Northern Railway.
Therefore, applications of Staff, who fulfills the following terms & conditions and retired from Railway Service, are invited so as to reach the office by Dy.CE/Gati Shakti Unit, DRM Office, State Entry Road New Delhi, on or before 14.07.2023.

The following terms and conditions may kindly be noted:-
The Re-engagement will be valid for a period of one year from the date of engagement and will be extended time to time as per administrative requirements.
Retired Staff, who have retired from Railway and is from the same category and same department for which notifications is issued can apply.
The Re-engagement shall not be beyond attaining the age of 65 years. No Re-engaged employee should continue in service beyond 65 years of age. All the Railway Retired Supervisor Supervisors who have not attained 64 years 6 months on the closing date of notification (to ensure at least Six months service is available after re-engagement) for re-engagement purpose will be eligible.
The Administration is at liberty to terminate the services of the re-engagement employees even before completion of his terms in case their work/conduct is found unsatisfactory by giving a notice of One month. The re-engaged retired staff should give a notice of One month before discontinuing his services.
The employee Removed/Dismissed/Compulsory retired as a result of disciplinary action or pending vigilance cases or in review, are not eligible for re-engagement.
The re-engaged employees are entitled only for monthly fixed remuneration i.e., reducing pension from his/her last pay drawn at a time. The monthly fixed remuneration plus full pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. As per Railway Board letter no Dt. 24.10.19 under NRPS No. 15250/2019 dated 18.11.2019.
Retired employees being re-engaged, should not have been covered under the Safety Related Retirement Scheme/ Liberalized Active Retirement Scheme for Guranteed Employment for Safety Staff (LARSGESS).
The Re-engaged employees are not entitled for any other benefit or facilities except the monthly fixed remuneration.
The retired employee shall execute an agreement to abide by all the terms and conditions of the re-engagement.

Suitability/ Competency of the applicant shall be adjusted by nominated comitee by the way of personal interview before their re-engagement.
Copy of any of the following documents should be attached with the application and it is mandatory:
- Service Certificate
- Pensioner Identity Card
- Pension Payment Order
The last date of submission of the application is 14.07.2023. Staff desires for re-engagement, may submit their application in the prescribed format aa Annexure ‘A’ in the office of Dy. CE/Gati Shaktu Unit, DRM Office, State Entry Road New Delhi on or before 14.07.2023 by registered post or submit personally.
Kindly note applications received after 14.07.2023 will not be entertained.
