NTPC Diploma Engineers Recruitment 2023: NTPC Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise), has released a notification for the special recruitment drive for SC/ST Diploma Engineers.
This, NTPC Limited is India’s largest integrated power company with an installed capacity of 72,364 MW and has a presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. NTPC has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total installed capacity of 130 GW by 2032. It is an equal-opportunity employer.

The upper Age limit is 30 years as of last date of application.
TRAINING, EMOLUMENTS, AND PLACEMENT:
Selected Candidates will undergo training for a period 02 years at any NTPC sites/stations and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 24,000/- per month.
On successful completion of training, these candidates will be absorbed in the open pay scale of Rs. 24000-3%- (W7 Grade). The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of the training.

Selection Procedure for NTPC Diploma Engineers Recruitment:
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to undergo 2 stages of Online Test (Computer Based Test).
1st stage online: In 1st stage Aptitude Test (120 multiple choice questions) covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning will be conducted. The duration of the test will be 02 hours. Each questions carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer. The candidate will be shortlisted @ 1:10 for 2nd Stage Online Test (Technical). 1st Stage is only qualifying in nature.
2nd stage online test: In 2nd stage, Online Technical Test (120 multiple choice questions) in respective discipline will be conducted. The duration of the test will be 02 hours. Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer. Qualifying marks shall be 30%.
Offer of appointment to be issued based on merit.
Test Centers:
Ranchi 2. Bhubaneswar(if required, based on the number of applicants). Test centre details shall be intimated to candidates at the time of issuance of Admit Card. NTPC reserves the right to cancel or add any center depending on the number of applicants/candidates.
