1. IIT Bombay has made it to the list of the world’s top 100 educational institutes famous for mathematics. It jumped 25 places from 117th to 92nd. IIT Madras, on the other hand, jumped 50 places to the 98th position in the QS rankings.
2. IIT Kanpur’s Electrical and Electronic Engineering course is now the 87th best course in the world. IIT Kanpur has crossed 21 places in this course. On the other hand, the Computer Science and Information Systems course has occupied the 96th position. IIT Kanpur is ranked 13th in this course.

3. IIT Kharagpur’s Computer Science and Information course is ranked 94th. It is also recognized as the country’s top institution in Structural Engineering along with Agriculture and Forestry. It ranks 82 in the world and 2nd in India in engineering and technology.
4. IIT Madras’ petroleum engineering course has been ranked 21st in the QS World University Rankings. IIT Madras also ranks top in the country for petroleum engineering courses in the NIRF rankings.
5. IIT Delhi’s Electrical Engineering program has been ranked 56th in QS World University Rankings 2023, 64th in Mechanical Engineering, 65th in Computer Science, 92nd in Chemical Engineering and 52nd in Civil Engineering.
