WBPSC Recruitment 2023: Public Service Commission West Bengal has released a notification for the recruitment of Technical Assistant, Grade- III the department of MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES & TEXTILES, GOVT. W.B.
DIRECTORATE: TEXTILES (HANDLOOM, SPINNING MILLS, SILK WEAVING AND HANDLOOM BASED HANDICRAFT DIVISION)
Online applications are hereby invited from Indian Citizens and others declared eligible by Government of India for recruitment to the under mentioned post which is permanent.
Educational Qualification for WBPSC Recruitment:
What are the educational qualification for the applications of WBPSC –in detail below;
A degree or diploma in Textiles Technology or Handloom Technology from any Indian Institute of Handloom Technology or any University /or recognized Institute.
Knowledge of Bengali – Written & Spoken.
Age Limit:
The age limit for the applications of WBPSC –in detail below;
Not more than 39 (thirty nine) years on 01.01.2023, relaxable for otherwise
qualified candidates & for Government Servants or employees of public
undertakings, who are not out of such employment for more than 1 (one)
year and the age of such employees shall be relaxable to the extent of
actual period of service rendered continuously in such employment subject
to a maximum of 5 (five) years.
Salary Amount:
LEVEL – 9 (Rs. 28,900/- – Rs. 74,500/-) AS PER WBS (ROPA) RULES,2019

Selection Procedure:
The prescribed qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicants to be called for the interview.
If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it is not conveniently possible for the Commission to interview all the applicants, the Commission may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualifications/ higher marks/grade obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Screening Test.
