CUET UG 2023: In the CUET UG 2023 for undergraduate admission to universities, students will get the additional time of 15 minutes in the papers on Accountancy, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Informatics Practice, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and General Tests. 45 minutes will be given to solve the paper of other subjects.
Extra time will be given for the first time
According to a senior official of the Ministry of Education, for the first time in the CUET UG 2023 examination, students of nine subjects including Accountancy, and Computer Science will get extra time.
This time is being given to them from reading to writing the question paper. Students of these nine subjects will get one hour in the exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) have made this change on the demand of students and parents.
Negative Marking in CUET UG
Whereas, there will be negative markings in CUET UG 2023 as per NTA’s CUET UG 2023 policy. a student clicks a wrong answer to a question then one mark will be deducted. If more than one answer to a question in the paper is correct, five additional marks will be given to those students who have opted for only one of them.
If the answer to any question in the paper is wrong, then the student who has given the most correct answer will also get five marks. In CUET UG 2023, questions will be asked from the class 12th NCERT syllabus only. Students continue their preparation under the NCERT syllabus. The papers are prepared from this syllabus.
better prepared than last year
This time better arrangements and preparations are being made. The days of examination have also been reduced. Earlier CUET UG was conducted in two phases. Now from May 21 to 31, the examination is being conducted in three shifts in just 10 days.
Computers are also being checked during the surprise inspection of examination centers so that students do not face any problems during the examination. Additional capacity is being arranged at each center. Its purpose is to make available another computer immediately to the student in case of a technical fault.
