DRDO NSTL Apprentice Recruitment: DRDO NSTL has released a recruitment notification for Apprentice positions in 2024, open to ITI, Diploma, and Graduate pass candidates. The online application process has begun, and candidates from all over India can apply. Various trades such as ITI Electrician, Welder, Turner, Fitter, and Diesel/Motor Mechanic are eligible for apprenticeship, as well as branches like Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Computer Engineering, ECE, and EEE. The notification was published in the Employment News, and soon it will be available on the official DRDO NSTL website.
All the qualifications must be from Indian Institutions recognized by Appropriate Statutory Authority
Registration of B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Candidates on www.nats.education.gov.in i.e, NATS 2.0, and ITI Candidates on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in is mandatory.
Regular Candidates who have completed their education qualifications during the years 2022, 2023 & 2024 are only eligible to apply.
Candidates with postgraduate qualifications are not eligible to apply. Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training or at present undergoing
Apprenticeship Training under any organization is not eligible to apply.
Candidates with more than one year of work experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age as of the closing date of application.
The tenure of Apprenticeship Training for the above trades would be 12 months, commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.
The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and there is no obligation for employment of apprentices on completion of their training.
No transport will be provided by the establishment at the time of the interview and also during the training period. The apprentices will not be provided any hostel accommodation/quarter on their selection and during the training period.
Selection will be made based on Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
Any canvassing or personnel follow-up to influence the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
NSTL reserves all the rights to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.
The number of apprentices mentioned above is only indicative and may change at a later stage depending on the final assessment of eligible applications received.
The candidates are advised to enable their DIRECT BENEFICIARY TRANSFER (DBT) with AADHAR CARD and also their BANK ACCOUNT should be seeded/linked/synchronized with AADHAR CARD for transfer of (Govt share) Stipend into a bank account.
Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process or during the training period.
How to Apply for DRDO NSTL Apprentice 2024
Before filling out the application form, candidates shall ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement
Candidates registered in the respective portals are required to submit their scanned copy of the application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A) to email id: admin2.dept.nsti@ gov.in.
Candidates are requested to fill up the correct details against all the fields of application (Annexure-A) along with uploading scanned copies of all mandatory documents.
The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In the case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into a percentage as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification.
Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application (Annexure-A) along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining NSTL Visakhapatnam
Online applications received after the last date will not be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms will not be accepted.
