NTPC Seeks Executive Director (Coal Mining): National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), India’s largest power company, is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Executive Director (Coal Mining).

About the opportunity:

• Lead NTPC’s coal mining operations and contribute to the company’s power generation goals.
• This senior-level position requires a strong background in mining engineering and extensive experience in the field.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute.
• First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Coal.
• Age limit: 57 years (as on the last date of application).

Salary:

• Competitive compensation package within E9/IDA Pay Scale (Rs. 150,000 – 300,000).

Eligibility:

• Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Previous experience (applicable to Govt./PSU candidates):

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a position with a salary scale of Rs. 120000-280000 (IDA pay scale of E8 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent.
