EID UL FITR Date 2023: Eid-ul-Fitr is an important festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and prayer. The 28th fast of the holy month of Ramadan has been kept on Thursday. Due to the unavailability of the moon in India, 29th Roza will also be observed along with Goodbye Friday prayers. The Eid moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia today. For this reason, it has been announced to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday. Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated in India a day after Saudi Arabia. Due to this, now Eid will be organized in India on Saturday.

Eid-ul-Fitr is also a time for forgiveness and reconciliation. Muslims are encouraged to forgive those who have wronged them and seek forgiveness from those they have wronged. This is a time to strengthen family bonds, visit relatives and friends, and spread happiness and love.

Moon sighting is confirmed in other states:

Maulana, Mufti, Imam, and officials associated with the Chand Committee verify the sighting of the moon through phone from other states, even on the evening of 29th Roza.

Information about moon sightings is also collected from acquaintances living abroad. After this, it is announced when Eid will be celebrated, but now arrangements have been made to see the moon in the city itself.

Telescope and two binoculars have been ordered from Mumbai:

The Islamic Center has procured a telescope and two binoculars from Mumbai, which were installed on the terrace of Masjid-e-Ayesha near the center by Shaji Khan, social media in-charge of the center.

Along with the telescope, two binoculars have also been ordered.

Public Holiday (EID UL FITR Date 2023):

In many parts of the world, Eid-ul-Fitr is a public holiday, and people take the day off to celebrate. Muslim communities organize various events like fairs, charity drives, and cultural programs to celebrate the festival.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the way Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated, with many countries enforcing restrictions on gatherings and public events. However, with the ongoing vaccination programs, it is hoped that people will be able to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 with fewer restrictions.
