Qualification and Experience Required for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:
Store Keeper Grade II:
- 12th pass from a recognized university/board.
- 01 year of experience handling stores in a recognized firm, central/state government organization, or public sector undertaking.
Engine Driver:
- 10th pass certificate.
- Certificate of competency as an Engine Driver from a recognized government institute or equivalent.
- 02 years of service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred boat horsepower.
CMTD (Civilian Motor Transport Driver):
- 10th standard pass.
- Valid driving licenses for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
- Minimum 02 years of experience in driving motor vehicles and knowledge of motor mechanisms.
Fork Lift Operator:
- Certificate in the respective trade from ITI or other recognized institutions.
- 01 year of experience in the trade OR 3 years of experience in the trade for which no training is available.
- Heavy-duty vehicle driving license.
Sheet Metal Worker and Carpenter:
- 10th pass or its equivalent.
- Successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized/reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprentice Act 1961 OR completed training in the relevant trade from an ITI.
- 01 year of trade experience OR 4 years of experience in the relevant trade if no ITI training is available.
- Trade entrance examination (if applicable).
Unskilled Labourer:
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent from a recognized board or ITI-recognized institution.
- 3 years of experience in the trade.
Motor Transport Fitter:
- Matriculation or equivalent degree.
- 02 years of experience in an automobile workshop.
