Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) a Navaratna Company and a premier Indian Public Limited Company in Professional Electronics with a portfolio of over 350 different products in the areas of Military Radars, Naval Systems, ElectroOptics, Weapon & Fire Control Communication, Homeland Security, Strategic Communication & Unmanned System, Electronic Warfare, Tank Electronics and Electro Optics.

Educational Qualification for BEL Trainee Engineer Recruitment:
What are the educational qualification for the applications of BEL –in detail below;
Trainee Engineer – I: B.E/B.Tech (4 year course) Engineering degree or equivalent in Computer Science from recognized University/Institution/College with 55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.11.2023: Fresher/ C++, Java, Algorithm Development, SW Documentation.
Project Engineer – I: B.E /B.Tech (4 year course) Engineering degree in Computer Science from recognized university/Institution/College with 55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.11.2023: Minimum 02 years / C++, Java, SW Testing, SW Documentation Python etc.
Project Officer – I (Human Resources): MBA / MSW / PG Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in human Resources management / Industrial Relations / Personnel management HR from recognized university/Institution/College with 55% .
Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.11.2023: 02 Year experience
Project Engineer -I (Material Management): BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) (4 year course) Engineering degree from recognized university/Institution/College with 55%.
Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.11.2023: 02 Year experience
Age Limit:
What is the age limit for the applications of BEL –in detail below;
- Trainee Engineer – I: 28 Year
- Project Engineer – I: 32 Year
- Project Officer – I (Human Resources): 32 Year
- Project Engineer -I (Material Management): 32 Year
The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
SSLC/SSC/ISC mark card and any other valid document will be considered as proof of date of birth.
Salary Amount:
What is the salary amount for the engagement of BEL –in detail below;
Trainee Engineer – I: Trainee Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of TWO years which may be extended up to a maximum of three years (including initial period) based on Project requirement and individual’s performance.
- 1st year: Rs. 30,000/
- 2nd year: Rs. 35,000/-
- 3rd year: Rs. 40,000/-
Area allowance* @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month) *Only to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer location Rs.12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
Project Engineers/ Officer – I: Project Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of THREE years which may be extended up to a maximum of Four years (including initial period) based on Project requirement and individual’s performance.
- 1st year Rs. 40,000/-
- 2nd year Rs. 45,000/-
- 3rd year Rs. 50,000/-
- 4th year Rs. 55,000/-
Area allowance* @ 10% of consolidated remuneration (per month) *Only to those candidates who will be posted to various sites and customer location Rs.12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from payment of application fee.

What are the documents required for the applications of BEL –in detail below;
- Applicants are required to scan the following documents and attach the same in pdf format:
- SSLC/SSC/ISC marks card or any other valid documents as proof of date of birth.
- PUC / 12th Class Marks card
- Final degree/ Provisional Degree certificate of relevant qualification.
- Proof of norms for CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade/document for percentage/class issued by University/Institution/College.
- Caste/Tribe/Community/Disability/Economic status Certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement. Candidates belonging to OBC category should produce the Certificate issued on or after 01.04.2021 and for EWS certificate valid Income & Asset certificate must be produced.
- Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous/ current employer.
- Candidate employed on permanent/fixed term basis in Govt./Quasi Govt. and Public Sectors Undertaking should compulsorily submit the ‘No Objection Certificate’ along with the application.
- Candidates employed on temporary basis in Govt./Quasi Govt. and Public Sector Undertaking should compulsorily submit Offer of Appointment and latest payslip.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Candidate should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement.
Selection will be through a Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written test). 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.
