IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023: Research and Development Section Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati Guwahati-781039, Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of Project Staff Designation (SRF) in Direct.

Applications are invited for an Online interview for the following post in the project titled “Unravelling the Functional Mechanism of Target Recognition and Cleavage in an Unusual CRISPR-Cas System” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.

Educational Qualification:

What are the educational qualifications for the applications of IIT Guwahati –in detail below;

• BE/B.Tech or ME/ M. Tech or MSc in life sciences or biotechnology with atleast two years of research experience in Molecular/RNA biology.
• Qualified in NET/GATE or equivalent national eligibility test.
• Candidate should have sound experience in cloning, protein expression & purification, and standard molecular biology techniques.

Salary Amount:

Candidates have to appear in the online interview on November 28, 2023 (Tuesday).

An advance copy of CV mentioning all educational qualifications, experience, contact details, valid GATE/NET details etc. along with scanned copies of relevant documents must be sent to [email protected] latest by November 24, 2023 (5 PM).

Shortlisted candidates will be called through email for the online interview with interview link. Selection will be done based on the performance of the candidate in the interview and research experience. The appointment shall be awarded initially for six months, which shall be extended based on the performance.
