ISRO Junior Personal Assistant Recruitment 2024: Indian Space Research Organization, Department of Space has released a notification for the recruitment of ASSISTANT AND JUNIOR PERSONAL ASSISTANT. There are the number of vacancies – Assistant: 10 & Junior Personal Assistant: 6.

Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), a premier Scientific & Research Institute and an Autonomous Unit under the Department of Space, Government of India, is looking for young, meritorious, dynamic and motivated candidates fulfilling eligibility conditions, for the following positions as detailed below.

Educational Qualification for ISRO Junior Personal Assistant Recruitment:

What are the educational qualification for the recruitment of ISRO –in detail below;

For Assistant –

Graduation with minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognized University, with a pre- requisite condition that Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University.

Proficiency in the use of Computers

For Junior Personal Assistant –

Graduation with minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognized University, with a pre- requisite condition that Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University

Proficiency in the use of Computers

OR

Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognized Board/University, with a pre- requisite condition that Diploma should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University

One-year experience as Steno-Typist/ Stenographer

A minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography

Proficiency in the use of Computers

Age Limit:

What is the age limit for the applications of ISRO –in detail below;

18 – 28 Years as on 31.03.2024 (Maximum 33 years for SC/ST Candidates and 31 years for OBC candidates, against post reserved for these category).

Salary Amount:

Selected candidates will be appointed as ‘Assistant’ / ‘Junior Personal Assistant (JPA)’ in Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100/-) of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹25,500/- p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively.

The employees will be governed by the National Pension Page 4 of 19 System (NPS). On employment in PRL, other facilities are available such as medical facilities for self and dependents, canteen, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, etc as per Central Government/PRL Rules.

Application Fee for ISRO Junior Personal Assistant Recruitment:

An application fee of ₹.100/- shall be charged. Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay ₹.500/- as application-fee including candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS). However, Candidates belonging to fee exemption category (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) will be refunded full application fee, if he attends the written test and UR/EWS/OBC candidates will be refunded ₹.400/-, if he attends the written test. The Application fee will not be refunded to all those Candidates, who fail to attend the written test. Candidates require to furnish correct bank account details with IFSC code in order to get refund while filling online application. All fee-exempted categories except women require to upload relevant certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) to get refund.

Application Procedure for the recruitment of ISRO:

How to apply for the recruitment of Assistant & Junior Personal Assistant –in detail below;

• The Candidates should register their application on-line at https://www.prl.res.in/OPAR. The link for receipt of online application will be active from 09.03.2024 (10.00 Hrs.) to 31.03.2024 (24.00 Hrs.).
• Upon registration and successful submission of application, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number (downloadable filled-in application) through email which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• A valid Email ID & Mobile number of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily. Hall tickets/ Call letters for written test/skill test for those who will be screened-in/shortlisted, will be sent through email only and no hard copy will be sent.
• Candidates are advised to check all the fields entered by them online before submitting their applications. Candidates should avoid submission of multiple applications for the same post.

APPLICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE POSTS:

Candidates may apply for both the posts, i.e. for Assistant and JPA, subject to conditions. Candidates in this case have to submit separate Applications each for the post of Assistant and JPA and pay Application Fee separately for each post. The Written/Skill test for both the posts will be conducted separately.

SELECTION PROCESS:

What are the selection procedure for the engagement of ISRO -in detail below;

• The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection viz. Written Test/Skill Test.
• There will be an initial screening based on the on-line application. The criteria for screening will be decided vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by PRL.
• A Written Test will be conducted at ten venues viz. Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram and Udaipur. However, PRL reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre. The call letters for written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.
• Candidate has to choose any two exam centres as 1st and 2nd preference.
