SSC GD Constable Syllabus: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC GD Constable exam every year to recruit candidates for the post of General Duty Constable in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). The exam is held in two stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates applying for GD Constable must be a citizen of India

Age Limit

  • Maximum age for GD Constable: 23 years
  • Minimum age for GD Constable: 18 years

Educational Qualification

Must have passed 10 OR equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

Note: However, candidates belonging to the reserved categories have been given some age relaxation in the upper age limit.

The CBT consists of four sections:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 questions)
  • General Knowledge and General Awareness (50 questions)
  • Elementary Mathematics (50 questions)
  • English/Hindi Language (50 questions)

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2024:
