Sabuj Sathi Scheme

This scheme of the WB govt scheme list was launched by the West Bengal government in September 2015. Students of classes IX to XII studying in all government-aided schools in the state are eligible for this scheme. Bicycles are distributed to the students of these classes so that even if the distance from their residence to the educational institution is long, it is not difficult to come to school.

Kanyashree Project-

The scheme was launched by the West Bengal government on 8 March 2013. Through this scheme, girl children between 13 to 18 years will get financial benefits. However, applicants must be unmarried students studying in classes VIII to XII in a government-recognized educational institution. Note that the annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than 1.2 lakhs.

Utkarsh Bangla

On 16 February 2016, the name of this scheme was added to the WB govt scheme list by the government of West Bengal. Especially providing employment or wage-related training to the residents of the state. More specifically, the scheme was launched to make those residents who are interested in technical training, skilled in work.

Karma Sathi Scheme

The scheme was launched on 18 September 2020. The scheme was launched to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the state. Moreover, not only job search will be provided through this project, but also a loan of 2 lakh taka is provided for him so that he can work at his own will.

Karma Thirtha

All types of unemployed youth of West Bengal are given the opportunity to become self-reliant through this new scheme of the state government. Through this scheme, financial assistance is also provided to the applicant if he wants to open his own shop or office.

Nirmal Bangla

The name of this project was added to the WB govt scheme list on 19 November 2013. The Mission Nirmal Bangla project was launched by the state government. At present this initiative has received national and international recognition.

Defecation in the open in villages is not unknown. So Mission Nirmal Bangla Project was launched keeping in mind the hygiene of the people there. The project aims to ensure sanitation in rural areas where there is no toilet facility.

Akanksha Prakalpa

The scheme was launched to facilitate the construction of its own accommodation for state government employees. Considering that the persons who are facing difficulties in constructing their own houses or flats, this benefit will be given to them. They can add their name to this WB govt scheme list.

GITANJALI HOUSING SCHEME

The residents of the state who are not in good financial condition, but have a dream of building their own residence, this dream is fulfilled through this scheme. Initially, the name of this scheme was ‘Amar Adresh’. Later this scheme was renamed as ‘Gitanjali Scheme’ on 4th April 2014.

Anandhara Project

The Government of India launched the National Rural Livelihood Mission or NRLM under the Ministry of Rural Development. NRLM was launched in the state on May 17, 2012, under the inspiration and supervision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister as the Anandhara Scheme. Its aim is to eliminate the rural poor and make them self-reliant through self-help groups.

Madhur Sneha

In 2013, the name of this project was added to the WB govt scheme list. Which, East India’s first and country’s most modern ‘Human Milk Bank’ has been launched at SSKM Hospital. The Madhur Sneha project deals with pasteurization and state-of-the-art milk collection, screening, processing, testing, and storage facilities. Babies born prematurely, or with low birth weight/mothers unable to breastfeed directly are benefited through this scheme.

Public Outreach Project

The project was launched by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs under the inspiration and supervision of the state government. The aim of which is to give status to folk artists by issuing identity cards to them, revive almost extinct folk art and culture, improve the socio-economic status of artists associated with folk culture, and provide other benefits.

Food companion scheme

The scheme was launched on 27 January 2016 by the Government of West Bengal. The main objective of this project is to ensure food supply to the backward class or footpath dwellers or common people who are affected by ILA or drought etc. Besides, through the ‘Khadya Sathi’ project, it is confirmed how many kilos of ration per family or per head will be available every month in digital ration cards of 5 categories.

Health Partner Scheme

The scheme was launched on 30th December 2016 by the Government of West Bengal. As per the rules of the scheme, each applicant’s family will get basic health coverage up to 1.5 lakh rupees. Moreover, if any member of the family registered under the scheme suffers from a critical illness, a benefit of 3.5 lakh rupees will be provided. But have private health insurance. Those persons cannot apply for a ‘Shastya Sathi’ card.

Amar Fasal Amar Gola-

This project was added to the WB govt scheme list in 2013. Which is a scheme under the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal, and the Department of Agriculture Marketing, Government of West Bengal helps implement this scheme.

The scheme aims to help the farmers of the state to store crops. Applicants enrolled in this scheme are given financial assistance of Rs 5,000, Rs 12,000, and Rs 25,000 respectively for making crop shells.

Gatidhara Prakolpo

This project was launched in 2015-2016. Loans are provided to the unemployed youth of the state between 20-45 years of age to purchase their commercial vehicles. WBTIDCL helps in this project. Whereas, in case of the purchase of a commercial vehicle by the applicant, 30% of the vehicle price or a maximum of Tk 1 lakh is given as a subsidy.
