As per the official notification, The date of the Departmental Examination for promotion to the rank of ASI/LASI (UB) and ASI (AB) in West Bengal Police – 2023 has been rescheduled on 06/08/2023 (Sunday) in two sessions as per the following schedule:

Both examinations will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and
Descriptive Question(s). Pen will be provided by West Bengal Police Recruitment
Board. OMR sheet will be provided for answering MCQ part while separate answer book
will be provided for the descriptive part which will consist of the question(s) on report
writing as per syllabus. Sample of OMR has also been uploaded.

There will be negative marking on OMR based part i.e., ¼ th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Separate admit cards for each session has already been uploaded on the websites.

No Admit card will be generated afresh for the rescheduled date of examination.
Candidates will have to appear for the examination with the copy of earlier generated
Admit card. Those who have not yet downloaded their Admit card, may downloaded
the same using the previous link available on the websites of West Bengal Police
Recruitment Board (https://prb.wb.gov.in) & West Bengal Police
(www.wbpolice.gov.in).

ASI/LASI (UB) AND ASI (AB) IN WEST BENGAL POLICE – 2023 Admit:

Candidates shall have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Cards at the allotted venues for appearing in the said examination with proper and original proof of identity as mentioned in the Admit card. They will also be intimated regarding the rescheduled date of the examination through SMS and E-mail.

The candidates are strongly advised not to carry any articles declared as prohibited
in Sl. No. 6 of Important Instructions given in the Admit card.
