WBSCVT Announces Admissions 2024-25: The West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBSCVT) has announced admissions for diploma courses in engineering and technology, and various CTS and DST (E-Group and M-Group) trades, in government, government-aided, and self-financed polytechnics and ITIs across the state.

• Application Period: February 23, 2024 – May 15, 2024

• Courses Offered: Diploma in Engineering & Technology, NCVET affiliated CTS Trades
• Admission Quota: 50% district-based, 50% open for all, 20% reserved for female students

• Application Fee: Rs. 450/- (General), Rs. 225/- (Kanyashree enrollees) for polytechnics, Rs. 200/- (Boys), Rs. 100/- (Girls) for ITIs

Eligibility Criteria for WBSCVT Announces Admissions 2024-25:

• ITI – E Group: Passed Class 8 or equivalent from a West Bengal school
• ITI – M Group: Passed Madhyamik or Class 10 equivalent from a West Bengal school
• Polytechnic – 1st Year: Passed Madhyamik or Class 10 equivalent with Science/Physical Science and Mathematics
• Polytechnic – 2nd Year: Passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 with relevant subjects or completed 2 years of ITI after Class 10
