South Central Railway Recruitment 2023: SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY has released a notification for the recruitment of a Junior Technical Associate. Engagement of Junior Technical Associate (Construction/ Open line) ON CONTRACT BASIS in level-6 in Civil/ Electrical/ Signal & Telecommunication Departments. The total number of vacancies to be filled is 35.

The engagement will be offered for the post of JTAs purely on contract basis for a period up to the validity of the scheme i.e. up to 19/11/2023 from the date of engagement or till such time availability of regularly selected candidates from RRB, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification:

What is the educational qualification for the Junior Technical Associate of South Central Railway –in detail below;

Junior Technical Associate (Works Const/OL) –

Four years Bachelor’s degree in (a) Civil Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub-system of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University Institute.

OR

Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR (b) a combination of any sub-system of basic of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Junior Technical Associate (Electrical, Drawing, Const/OL) –

Four years Bachelor’s degree in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub system of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University Institute.

OR

Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR (b) a combination of any sub system of basic of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Junior Technical Associate S&T (Drawing, Const/OL) –

Four years Bachelor’s degree in (a) Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or M.Sc. Electronics or   (b) a combination of any sub system of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University Institute.

OR

Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR (b) a combination of any sub system of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Age Limit:

The lower and upper age limit indicated for the post will be reckoned as on date i.e 01/07/2023.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Minorities/EWS –Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only)
