South East Central Railway Recruitment 2023: South East Central Railway (SECR) has released a notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices for Act Apprenticeship under Apprentices Acr-1961 in SECR Raipur Division & Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur for the year 2023-24. There are total of 1033 vacancies-
- DRM OFFICE, RAIPUR DIVISION E05202200048: 696 Vacancies
- WAGON REPAIR SHOP, RAIPUR E11152200001: 337 Vacancies

Educational Qualification for South East Central Railway Recruitment:
The educational qualification for the applications of SECR –in detail below;
Must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.
Must have passed an ITI course in relevant trade from a Recognized Institution.
Age Limit for South East Central Railway Recruitment:
The age limit for the application of SECR –in SECR;
The candidates should have completed 15 Years of age and should NOT have completed 24 Years of age as on 01.07.2023.
Note: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 Years for SC/ST candidates, 03 Years for OBC, 10 Years for Ex-Servicemen and PWBD.
Apprentice Training & Stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 Year for each trade.
They will be paid a stipend during their training as per the rules of Railway Board. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.

Eligibility Criteria for preparing merit list in the Selection:
The following criteria are prescribed for the preparation of merit in the selection:-
Taking the average of the % age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both (Railway Establishment Rule 201/2017).
The selected candidate or, if he is minor, his guardian has be enter into a contract of apprenticeship with the employer.
